Owner/General Manager -Raymond Brunyanszki

Dutch owners Raymond Brunyanszki and Oscar Verest juxtaposed the  exciting history of the inn with a lively atmosphere, contemporary Asian  elegance, and odes to their home country. They’ve created an intimate  oasis of luxury and perfection set in the exciting urban atmosphere of  Portland, Maine, and invite you to join them.

Bar Manager and Drink Designer - Alexa Doyer

Before Alexa became Drink Designer and Mixology Bar Manager for Opium and Tempo Dulu at the Danforth Inn and Natalie’s at Camden Harbour Inn (member of Relais and Chateaux), she worked at The Tilted Kilt and the high rated “B” in West Hartford and the Half Door. As a mixologist Alexa got recognition at Little River Restoratives where she was responsible for the craft cocktail list. Doyer participated in industry professional bar takeovers, pop-ups, master classes, cocktail labs, and competed in multiple U.S.B.G. competitions.   At Opium, Alexa will continue to create new cocktail recipes and build on the bar program of Tempo Dulu with Asian inspired craft cocktails and design drinks for Opium, a seductive, roaring twenties Shanghai Speak Easy with addictive and playful cocktails. For Natalie’s at Camden Harbour Inn Doyer will oversee the modern classic cocktail program and create seasonally changing menus that fits the Modern New England cuisine of Natalie’s   At both restaurants Alexa will work closely together with the culinary team to create the perfect cocktail pairings.  Doyer started May 12th in the role of Bar Manager and Drink Designer. 

Executive Chef - Michael MacDonnell

Michael MacDonnell joined Tempo Dulu in the late Spring of 2016. He  previously worked at Relais and Chateaux Camden Harbour Inn, where he  started in 2008 as a line cook and eventually became the Sous Chef under  Geoffroy DeConinck, nominated Food and Wine Best New Chef. MacDonnell started his career under acclaimed Thai Chef Bounkuang  Souimaniphanh where he was trained in the preperation of classical Thai  food. Married to a Thai native and spending many months in the Eastern  region of Thailand further developed his South East Asian culinary  skills. Before Michael joined Tempo Dulu he was Executive Chef at Valentina in Camden Maine.
MacDonnell is also culinary responsible for the small plates served at Opium
